London Week 1 Adventures

July 15, 2016

Everyday after class this week I got to do a ton of fun stuff! I haven't really had a lot of homework so I've had a lot of opportunities to explore with new friends! I want to share some of the highlights with y'all! We went to the British Museum which was really cool. There was a lot of ancient history there. One of the coolest things was the Rosetta stone! I was able to get cheap tickets to see Guys and Dolls with Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect) playing Adelaide. This show was really cool to see since I was in a local version last summer. We walked across Millennium Bridge which was in one of the Harry Potter films, and went to Kings Cross Station and Platform 9 and 3/4! One day we went to Kensington Palace though we didn't pay to walk through, we simply walked around the beautiful gardens. We spent a little bit of time at the National Gallery and saw some famous works of art. We also went to the London Eye which was definitely worth it. It offered spectacular views of the city and a different perspective.
