Every Tuesday morning, my sorority big sister and I go to Oxford's Bottletree Bakery, famous for its "saucer sized" cinnamon rolls. However that is a major understatement as these cinnamon rolls are probably closer to the size of your head. Once they heat up the cinnamon roll they use a ladle to cover the whole thing with icing. Its absolutely delicious and probably the furthest thing from healthy. Most people can't even finish a whole one on their own (though for a cinnamon roll lover like me it is no challenge). Usually we split one though just to avoid the temptation of finishing a whole one. I look forward to these "big-little breakfasts" every week and it is the perfect excuse for us to hang out and catch up with school being so busy.

This is such a sweet tradition with your Big. Now I am totally craving a cinnamon roll, my mom makes them every year for Christmas morning (not as big as these ones of course) so I always associate them with holidays.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet tradition! My boyfriend and I have started a tradition of going to a local cafe every Sunday for brunch, and I love being recognized by the staff. Those cinnamon rolls look absolutely amazing. I don't know what I would do with one that big!
ReplyDeleteYum! Now I'm hungry...

YUM. You've inspired me to start requiring my friends to go on weekly breakfast/brunch dates with me, too! :)
