So today I'm getting my wisdom teeth out (yay....). I've prepared a little Wisdom Teeth Recovery Survival Kit.
The necessities are:
1. Popcicles (my favorite are the Outshine fruit popsicles).
2. Fruit and a blender for smoothies (we have a Vitamix).
3. My favorite tervis (no straw) for cold drinks.
4. An ice pack. I found this cute one at T.J. Maxx.
5. Netflix
I'm ready to spend a few days just relaxing and watching netflix before my summer really gets started.
Any tips for a fast recovery??

Haha I love this! Especially number 5. YES. I got mine removed last summer and did all of the above.

Yes the netflix has been very important as I haven't been able to do much else!
DeleteHang in there, sweet girl! My biggest tip for recovery is to follow the doctors orders. I had a pretty fast recovery, and I avoided solid foods for a few days and straws for quite some time. It will be SO worth the pain!

Thank you! I've mostly been living off of smoothies and applesauce but otherwise it hasn't been too bad!
DeleteSounds like you are as prepared as you can be! I honestly don't remember anything after getting my wisdom teeth out!
ReplyDeleteYes to all of these things! Hoping for your quick recovery pretty girl! (:
ReplyDeleteThank you! It hasn't been too bad so far, hopefully I'll be back to normal in a few days!
DeleteI was literally in a daze for a couple of days after getting my wisdom teeth out. Good luck girl!
ReplyDeleteI actually ate a lot of mac & cheese for some reason.

I love mac & cheese so I think by tomorrow I will be living off it!
DeleteGood luck! I actually didn't have a bad experience. I got all four of my wisdom teeth out at the same time, but I didn't have to take any drugs. I did have poofy cheeks. I lived off of mashed potatoes.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to have some mashed potatoes today actually! It hasn't been that bad so far!
DeleteI seriously lucked out when I found out that I don't have wisdom teeth but I feel like this is a great guide for those that do have them!

I'm so jealous! I was hoping that I wouldn't have any but unfortunately I didn't get so lucky!
DeleteGood luck with recovery!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better soon sweet girl!! I had mine out almost 4 years ago exactly... not a fun time but a great time for Netflix and catching up on blog organization and Pinterest!

Thanks! I've been using my time to do exactly that! It has been super relaxing!
DeleteI still haven't had mine out (and I'm 26...oops) but I just scheduled my extraction for next month. Hope everything goes well and you heal up quickly!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And good luck getting yours out!
DeleteI hope you're feeling better! I had complications with my wisdom teeth unfortunately, but once I got past that it was smooth sailing. I have one of those ice packs that I got for my 21st birthday. They're absolutely wonderful!
