Mascara Favorites Anchors and Pearls

Mascara has become one of my favorite parts of my makeup routine. I HATE taking it off but it just makes your eyes look so good! I've been trying to find a mascara that I love for ages and I've tried a ton of different kinds but these have been my favorites. My go-to, for everyday is the Blinc Mascara Amplified because it adds both volume and length by coating your lashes with little "tubes" (it's hard to explain) rather than just painting them. You don't even need to use makeup remover to take it off, it's water resistant but will wash off with water at the end of the day. The next mascara I sometimes use is the Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Waterproof Mascara which is pretty new to me. I like it because it doesn't clump, it doesn't really smudge, and it comes off easy enough with makeup remover. It doesn't add a ton of length or volume though. I also use the Benefit They're Real! Mascara which adds a TON of length, and some volume and it doesn't clump too much. The downside is it is practically impossible to take off, so I don't love wearing it. Finally, I LOVE the Dior Diorshow Waterproof Mascara because it adds a ton of length and volume. I love the way it looks! The downside is that it smudges under my eye throughout the day and it is very hard to take off, so if I wear it, it's probably for a very special occasion.

Have you tried any of these? What are your favorite mascaras?

  8. I've never been much of a mascara wearer because my eyelashes go down, and it's such a task to make them curl up. I've been trying to wear more though. I really like Benefit's mascara.

    1. Have you tried Benefit's new Roller Lash? It curls your eyelashes while you put the mascara on! Otherwise its pretty similar to Benefit's "they're real"!

  10. For length, I swear by L'Oreal's Double Extend (in the red and white tube) and I always use the primer first! After putting thing one on I always use another mascara on top for volume and mix that one up!

    1. I actually used that kind until this year, but I never thought to use another mascara on top! It's pretty similar to the Blinc, but I found the Blinc added more volume for me.

  11. I have a love/hate with They're Real! It's never consistent on my lashes. I used Diorshow in high school, and I absolutely loved it! I just started using Benefit's Roller Lash yesterday, and so far so good :)
