Its hard to believe that almost a year ago I graduated from high school. At the time college seemed scary and far away, and now I'm already done with my first year. Decorated graduation caps are so popular right now, so I wanted to share mine from last year. I ordered a small iron on monogram that matched my school colors from Etsy. I thought about adding a little bit more to it, but I really wanted it to be simple.

Thank you!
DeleteHow cute! Decorated graduation caps weren't a thing when I graduated high school (I'm not even sure if it would be allowed if it was, my school was so strict!), but I love the simplicity. I decorated my cap for college gradation and still have it saved to frame one day!

I definitely want to frame mine too!
DeleteYour grad cap is so cute! I also love the photos! Enjoy your summer and yay for finishing your freshman year!
ReplyDeleteYour cap was too cute! My decorated cap was confiscated at my HS graduation :( Clearly I missed the memo about not decorating your cap!
ReplyDeleteA lot of people had theirs confiscated at mine as well, but the administrations didn't notice mine so I got away with it!
DeleteCute grad cap!
ReplyDeleteWe weren't allowed to decorate ours in HS but as you saw from yesterdays post, we got to decorate them during college.
I hope you enjoyed your first year of college.
It'll fly by so embrace every moment of it.

Thank you! I found out the day of that we weren't supposed to but I managed to get away with mine! I think its such a fun tradition!
DeleteYour cap is so cute! We weren't allowed to decorate ours in high school; they actually had extra caps there in case someone tried to wear a decorated cap. But I went all out for mine in college :) Hope you've enjoyed your first year of college!

Thank you! They did the same thing at my school but since mine didn't have much on it, the administration didn't notice mine, I was one of like 3 people who got away with it!
DeleteI never thought about decorating my camp in high school, I am not sure if we were allowed to or not, but I don't think they gave us much time with the caps even if we wanted too. I will have to check out getting an iron on monogram for other stuff. Seems like a cool idea!
ReplyDeleteThe iron on monogram was really nice! It was super easy and it was cheap too!
DeleteThese are such precious pictures! Take me back to high school!
