Fashion Friday: Zara Jumpsuit Dress

August 5, 2016

Hey y'all! I just got this jumpsuit-dress from Zara when I was in London! I really like it because it looks sort of like a dress at first glance but its got slits down each side and shorts under it. Its super easy to throw on and would be great for an outdoor concert or a picnic! It would be great if you want to wear a dress but you don't want the hassle of wearing a dress. Also I love the color because chambray is super in right now! You could wear white tennis shoes with it to dress it down or wedges to dress it up.

Happy Friday!! I got this Free People Dress on sale at Macy's and I love it! Its really short so I wouldn't wear it without tights or pants. I really like that It can be worn as a shirt (see this post) or as a dress depending on how you style it! The back is open and super cute, great for fall or spring when its not too cold!

Fashion Friday: Show Me Your MuMu Dress

January 8, 2016

I've been vacationing in Lake Placid, Florida visiting my grandparents! Lake Placid is known as the Town of Murals because there are a whole bunch of murals all over town so we took a little bit of time for a photo shoot! I got this Show Me Your MuMu dress at a trunk show a few months ago and I love it! The pattern is so fun and the dress is so cute and easy! The colors are also super versatile for different seasons! I sized up when I bought this dress because it is very short!

Fashion Friday: Simple Tanks & Printed Skirts

September 18, 2015

I hope everyone had a good week! So glad its finally the weekend! Today I wanted to share this Lilly skirt! I love it because it adds just a pop of color but the pattern is not too crazy! It's super easy to throw on and it's perfect for church! I wore it to my sorority's formal chapter meeting a few weeks ago. There's just a little bit of pink in it so I paired it with my pink Rebecca Minkoff purse!

Fashion Friday: Last days to wear white!

September 4, 2015

This dress was one of the things I ordered from the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale a few weeks ago! I've had my eye on it for a while but I decided to wait until it went on sale to purchase it. I wore it to church last weekend because I wanted to get to wear it before Labor Day on Monday! I really like that the pattern isn't too crazy (its cute little fish!) and it has a fun little cut-out in the back! I'm going to wear it a ton next summer! It's a nice classic dress so I paired it with Jack Rogers.

Fashion Friday: Black and White Dress & {Chicago} Broadway

August 7, 2015

I'm currently in the middle of a musical (Guys and Dolls) through a community theatre in my home town. I had a few days off so my mom and I took advantage of my time off and went up to Chicago for an impromptu trip to see Pippin which just opened. I was able to get student "rush seat" tickets the day of the performance so we got them for really cheap! I'm a huge fan of the theatre and I always try to dress nicely when I go to a show. This dress was perfect for roaming around the city all day while being dressy enough for a night at the theatre. I love this dress because it is very versatile and can be worn with a cardigan or on its own for different seasons.

Fashion Friday: Floral Dress

July 24, 2015

Today, I want to share this dress that I picked up from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I went to lunch downtown with a friend and then we went to our favorite pumpkin patch to get doughnuts (they are seriously the best doughnuts I've ever had). This dress is so easy to throw on and its super casual, so I love it! It would also be easy to dress it up with wedges and a little bit of jewelry! Plus it's less than $30! I wore it with my Rebecca Minkoff Purse which is similar to this one from the Nordstrom Sale!

Fashion Friday: Burgundy Romper

July 17, 2015

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (AKA the biggest sale of the year!) opened to the public today! I have a Nordstrom debit card so I already had access to it and when I was in Indianapolis on Monday I picked up this romper from the sale! They also had some super cute Rebecca Minkoff bags on sale and they had one in a similar color to this one that matches with a ton of stuff! I sized up in this romper because it is pretty short (I usually wear an extra small or a small but I got this in a medium), there wasn't a lot of difference between the sizes so I opted for more length.
